Kids Ministry

Our Kids Ministry is designed to nurture and inspire children in their faith journey. Through fun activities, engaging lessons, and supportive leaders, we create a safe environment for kids to grow spiritually.
At Burnt Hickory Baptist Church, children from birth through 5th grade discover God's love through engaging worship and age-appropriate activities. Every Sunday at 8:15, 9:30, and 11am, plus Wednesday evenings at 6:15pm, kids experience dynamic programming through our LifeGroups and AWANA program. We partner with families to help children develop a personal relationship with Jesus, providing tools for parents to continue faith conversations at home.

Age-appropriate worship and small-group based lessons for ages birth through 5th grade.
Wednesdays
MidWeek Classes
6:15 PM
Wednesday evening offerings for all ages including lessons, worship and FUN!
Vacation Bible School
June 8–12
9:00am–12:00pm
In a world full of confusion about who Jesus truly is, this week kids will explore how light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, and discover that Jesus is the perfect, proven, and powerful Son of God.
Foam Party on the Front Lawn

Join us for a poppin’ good time on the front lawn! We’ll enjoy a wildly playful time of fun in the sun with tons of foam bubbles.
New Christians Class: Summer Edition
July 1, 2026
10:00am–1:00pm
In this New Christians Class, we create a fun, engaging environment where children can explore their new faith through age-appropriate activities and discussions. We’ll answer questions and talk about the importance of prayer, reading the Bible, the role of church, and the value of spending time with God.
Children's Summer Camp
July 5–9
Children entering third grade through kids entering the sixth grade are invited to join us for four days of worship, fellowship, and a variety of fun camp activities!
Chalk + Pops
July 8, 2026
10:00am–12:00pm
Join us for a fun morning of sidewalk chalk and popsicles in the front drive of the church! This event is geared towards toddlers through age four, but feel free to bring the family!
